Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Liftu Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") for use of our job-application service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service applies to jobs on your behalf and sends you proof of every application. Specifically, we:

• Identify open roles that match the preferences you share with us.
• Submit applications on your behalf to those roles via job portals and company career sites.
• Tailor your resume or cover letter per role where doing so improves your odds.
• Send a timestamped screenshot of each application to your WhatsApp (or email, if you prefer).

The Service does not include interview prep, negotiation, or any guarantee of an interview or offer. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by us.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you:

• Are at least 18 years old.
• Are legally entitled to work in the jurisdictions where you ask us to apply on your behalf.
• Have the authority to provide us the information and authorizations described in these Terms.

3. Authorization

By using the Service, you authorize us to act as your agent for the limited purpose of submitting job applications. Specifically, you authorize us to:

• Submit your resume and the personal details you provide to employers and job platforms you've approved.
• Complete application forms on your behalf using information you have given us.
• Create or use accounts on job portals where required to submit an application, using credentials you provide or that we set up with you.
• Sign or check standard application boxes (e.g. "I confirm the above is accurate", "I am authorized to work in [country]") only where you've confirmed those statements are true.

We will not impersonate you to recruiters in interviews or live conversations, message anyone "as" you, or post on your social profiles. We will not submit applications to roles you've told us to exclude.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information (including your resume and eligibility).
• Tell us promptly if anything changes (e.g. you've accepted an offer, your preferences change, or a portal locks your account).
• Don't use the Service to apply on behalf of anyone other than yourself, or to submit information you don't have the right to share.
• Comply with the rules of the job portals and employers we apply through on your behalf. Some portals restrict third-party application submission; using the Service in violation of those rules is your responsibility.
• Don't use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any employer, recruiter, or other party.

5. Fees and payment

Pricing is shown on our website and on the order page at the time you sign up. Unless we say otherwise in writing:

• You pay in advance for a defined number of applications or a billing cycle.
• Recurring plans renew automatically on each cycle until you cancel.
• Taxes (where applicable) are your responsibility.

We may change pricing for future billing cycles with reasonable notice. Existing paid cycles will not be affected.

6. Refunds

1 week, no questions asked. If you change your mind for any reason within 7 days of your purchase, email pi@piloit.com and we'll refund you in full. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any specific employment outcome. The Service is the act of applying. Selection, interviewing, and hiring are decisions made entirely by employers and are outside our control. We make no representation that using the Service will result in any particular job, salary, or response rate.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including our website, software, branding, and content, is owned by Liftu Technologies Pvt Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

You retain ownership of your resume and personal information. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that information solely to operate the Service for you.

9. Communications consent

You agree we may contact you over WhatsApp, email, SMS, or phone in connection with the Service, including application updates, support, billing, and important account notices. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time. Essential service-related messages may continue while your account is active.

10. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the Service.
• Don't use the Service to apply to roles you are not legitimately interested in or eligible for.
• Don't submit malicious files, defamatory content, or other unlawful material through the Service.

11. Third-party services and links

The Service interacts with third-party platforms (job portals, ATSes, payment processors, WhatsApp). Those third parties have their own terms and privacy policies that govern your use of them. We are not responsible for their actions, content, or availability.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liftu Technologies Pvt Ltd (and our officers, employees, and agents) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, employment, reputation, or data) arising out of or related to the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claims arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liftu Technologies Pvt Ltd from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) information you provide; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your use threatens the Service or other users, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including fees owed, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification).

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, give you reasonable advance notice through the Service or by email/WhatsApp. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction.
